ABSQUATULATE – v. humorous, chiefly N. Amer. leave abruptly

The origin of this word is described as a combination of the words ABSCOND, SQUATTLE (which means to depart) and PERAMBULATE.  Interesting, eh?

I found someone’s personal website called http://www.absquatulate.com but that was about it.  I don’t think anyone will be buying that domain name off her anytime soon.

So that’s it for this word.  But what a word!
