Agent Provocateur

AGENT PROVOCATEUR – n. a person employed to induce suspected offenders to commit criminal acts and thus be convicted.

I was never really aware of what an agent provocateur was, until now.  And you all get to share in my newfound knowledge!

Give the wikipedia article on this one a read.  It has some interesting examples of agents provocateurs.  I even found the youtube video to go along with the bit from Canada that is mentioned.  It’s crazy that it’s such a recent event.
